The search continues for a young Chicago mother missing since October 2011. Latasha Nevitt was an aspiring Dental Hygienist, wife and mother of two when she went missing after taking a walk to a grocery store near her home. Her story was featured in an issue of Ebony Magazine.

Nevitt's husband, Issac reported the then 30-year-old mother missing four days later on October 14, 2011. Investigators have searched the area Latasha reportedly walked to which is located in the 1300 block of West 107th Street and 112th street, east of Vincennes Street.

Police searched the Nevitt home for clues but found nothing to indicate that the young mother met with foul play. A year after her mysterious disappearance police were no closer to solving the case and still have no leads.

There has been no activity on Latasha's cell phone, she never reported to her classes at Everest University and has not contacted anyone in her family since October 10, 2011. Family members say Latasha was devoted to her children Ariel, now almost 12-years-old and her twin boys, Brian and Ryan her were 2-years-old when their mother disappeared.

Latasha's mother, Brenda Morgan told the Chicago Defender that it has been hard not knowing where her daughter is or what happened to her. Latasha's daughter, Ariel said, "I just want to see her and I miss her a lot."

Anyone with information regarding the circumstances of Latasha Nevitt's disappearance should telephone Chicago Police at 312-747-8274.
