Camp Pendleton Murder suspect has profiles on sadomasochism websites; described sexual preferences and interests in asphyxiaphilia, electro-torture, rape

San Diego County officials still have not divulged a motive or much other information in the murder of Brittany Killgore, but during an arraignment hearing for Staff Sergeant Louis Ray Perez, a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, new details emerged.

According to Deputy District Attorney Patrick Espinoza, Killgore sent a text to a friend on April 13,  the night she disappeared, that read, "Help." After that, Killgore was never heard from or seen again until April 17 when police found her body in Riverside County, California near Lake Skinner.

How Killgore died and how she met Perez, who is married, remains a mystery. Killgore was married to Marine Lance Cpl. Cory Killgore, who was deployed to Afghanistan at the time of her murder. Reports say the 22-year-old woman had filed for divorce from her husband recently citing irreconcilable differences in her divorce papers. The young couple married in 2010.  Perez entered a not guilty plea during his arraignment.

A second person arrested in connection with Killgore's murder, Jessica Lynn Lopez, is said to have lived with Perez at one time but authorities have not said where or when. Lopez was found in a motel room in San Diego mere hours after police discovered Killgore's body suffering from self-inflicted injuries.

A suicide note found next to Lopez in her motel room allegedly exonerates Perez according to his attorney. Superior Court Judge Kimberlee Lagotta ordered that the note and it's contents be sealed. However, ABC News reported that the suicide note detailed Killgore's fate and the location of her body.

Defense attorney Jeff Reichert, said the suicide note found in Lopez's room at the Ramada Inn "clearly shows" that Staff Sergeant Perez was not involved in the murder of Killgore and that Lopez, in fact, murdered the young military wife. Lopez was treated for her injuries at the UCSD Medical Center before being booked into jail at the Las Colinas Detention Center in Santee, California.

So far the evidence against Perez includes blood belonging to Killgore and an unidentified weapon both found in his car. Espinoza added that Perez also lied about his whereabouts to police. Two days after Killgore's nude body was found, Perez was arrested for allegedly stealing an AR-15 assault rifle and a trailer from a Camp Pendleton trailer in February.

In a disturbing twist, San Diego's channel 10News reported discovering profiles Perez has on two websites dedicated to sadomasochism. On one, Perez reportedly wrote that he wanted a woman or couple to "join his household where he is lord and master dom and daddy." On another of the websites, the 16-year Marine Corps veteran discloses his sexual preferences and interests as asphyxiaphilia, electro-torture, rape/victim, and kidnapping.

Espinoza has not mentioned how or if Lopez, who also pleaded not guilty, knew Killgore. Both Perez and Lopez, who remain jailed in lieu of $3 million dollar bonds each, will be back in the Vista courthouse for a preliminary hearing on May 30. If convicted, both could face 25 years to life in prison.
